![]() Footloose presents in association with Asian Improv aRts Memory, Reflection, Passage a new multi-media collaboration by Lenora Lee / Lee & Wang Dance Plus rare solo performance by Francis Wong Portraits for Saxophone Alone
Memory, Reflection, Passage is a hybrid, multimedia work integrating dance, video collage projections and lighting, with an original sound score. Choreographer Lenora Lee of Lee & Wang Dance, is dancing with Marina Fukushima and Sebastian Grubb. Video projections are by Olivia Ting; lighting design by Melissa Weaver and live solo music plus recorded group score by Francis Wong.
PLUS Francis will give a rare solo performance in Portraits for Saxophone Alone. He often adds extra-musical elements and plans to prepare a short order meal onstage to delight the audience. Three shows will be presented by Footloose at Shotwell Studios, September 25-26-27, 2009 as part of the AIM: Artists in Motion residency series in preparation for the premiere at the 10th Annual Women on the Way Festival in January, 2010 at ODC Dance Commons.
